The Seed For Success & Failure Is Born In Everyone

We are born with the ability to grow from both success and failure.

The seeds of failure and success are born in all of us, and both are watered by what we were taught as children. As we grow and mature, our actions, choices, decisions, and intentions provide sustenance, along with fate, destiny, and what we want. Then one will take over! Annelise Lords

One will take control and live with and for us.

At school today, volunteering as a Teacher’s aide, I don’t understand how these children aren’t interested in their own futures. I have never met so many people gathered together in one place without ambition or hope. The majority of these children have no interest in their education or future.

What kind of humans are raising these children?

They do and give the minimum every day. Many can’t read. Some can’t write, and they are entering high school in September.

Their parents aren’t aware of this, or they don’t care, because no one comes to find out why their child is doing so badly.

They disrupt the class, preventing the children who want to learn from learning. They don’t listen, period! No matter how you talk, many of them don’t listen. They are breaking the school rule, and you are telling them to stop. They stare at you and continue as if they are deaf.

Does this mean they are actually raising themselves, doing what they want? When they want to. With whomever they want to?

These children don’t behave as if they have to answer to anyone. They aren’t afraid of their parents either, so if they fail, it’s not a big deal. Their best has no value. They are unaware that they live in a developing country where poverty is rampant and many have to create their own opportunities from nothing.

They are twelve years old, but their actions say they are younger. Most of them don’t really know what they want to be when they grow up, and the profession they choose, they know nothing about what they will need and have to do to get there and stay there. They are more interested in having fun than in learning. A low grade doesn’t bother them. Failure in class isn’t a big deal. When the teacher talks about how bad their grades are, it has no impact on 98% of them.

My sons cried when they got 89% on their fifth-grade test. I demand the best and my money’s worth. Here, education isn’t free. Parents must pay for everything. School fees, medical expenses, PE gear, and textbooks are super expensive, and different books must be purchased at the start of every school year.

Education is a business here.

School is just a place to have fun for some.

How can parents not be interested in their children’s education?

A lot of these children are brilliant, but they need someone to slowly open that part of their brain, let the brilliance out, and keep it out there, so they can be and do their best. I do my best every time I am there, but I know when they go back to their world, they are going back to darkness.

How can a parent allow her child to fail? By not being personally involved in your children’s education, you are watering the seed of failure. You are allowing the seed of failure to grow rather than the seed of success.

What is being taught in many of these homes gives failure the right to grow instead of success.

How? How can parents not see that their children are failing educationally?

When we don’t contribute to our children’s success/education, the little they have must go to them and their children first. Then mom and dad will be left out in the cold without a jacket.

I stifle failure’s seed because I refuse to let my children fail!
