A letter, my counter offer
for ROCK’s unofficial “EDGY poets” challenge
To the filthy, sniveling weasels whom it may concern,
I read your proposed settlement and I find it
Slimey beyond description
What kind of
Unhinged,
Sociopathic,
Menace
Makes earnest offer of a festering turd such as this—
A runny, stinking lie
All done up with grift wrap and a bow?
How dare you even push this fetid “offer” across the table and how dare you pretend it is a kindness!
Now you rancid assholes are trying to squeeze out another deception
Even from across town,
I can tell
Your mouth is open
I know it
Because of the smell
So please—
Fucking
Save it!
I will no longer accept your manipulations
I would sooner accept a swig of frothing sewage
So slither on back to your holes, and fester there on your bellies!
Coil and writhe upon yourselves like the legless worms that you are
And if you need further clarity…
Here’s my counter offer: see ya in court, you vile sacks of shit!
In the meantime, I urge you to fuck yourselves. And let it not be gentle!

This is based off a real feeling for me, regarding a specific scenario which I have to be patient with in real life. As much as I feel this way, I know I can’t actually send this letter.
But it was fun and cathartic just to write it.
