Anxiety

Sweaty palms, my heart racing, thoughts of darkness and negativity,

I can’t breath, my chest aches,

Tears run down my face, Stomach full of butterflies, I don’t want to get out of bed,

I feel as if I can’t get out of this dark uncertain place,

Sometimes it’s a few days, sometimes it’s a few nights,

Then something pulls me out,

I go back to being my calm confident self,

About the Creator

Jennifer lindquist

I’ve always had a interest in poetry since I took a creative writing class in high school. Writing poetry is my safe place where I can either get positive or sometimes negative energy out by my writing of poetry.
