Checkmate

of grief

Comes in waves?

More like chariots.

Burning wall

perpendicular

to the arrow,

Achilles in the sand.

Dry dunes laughing,

waving sea oats like cowbells

amused by dragging.

This was actually one of the books I had to read for school that took my interest. Great poem to compliment the climax of Olyssey, book of Homer. They have a film out this year, I might go see this epic movie, I hope director Christopher Nolan do a great job. Matt Damon play, Odysseus. Great cast, come out in July

Mmm the personification of the dry dunes really sings here. I love mythology and really enjoyed this!
