Made in the Milky Way
You are the nearest I will ever come to seeing space up close.

You are the nearest I will ever comeTo seeing space up close.
Your eyes remind me of galaxies,Their twinkle the stars that fill them Made of light and wonderThat shine with the promise that‘Everything will be okay.’
Your soul reminds me of stardust,Floating free in the infinite spaceThat is your being,Wearing the midnight moonAnd nothing else.
I seek you out.
I will always seek you outTo whisper“I love you”Into the infinity of the universe.
But I don’t know why.Because I’ll never understandHow something so damaged,So distant,So unattainable,Could be so breathtakingly beautiful.

Review of 'Man on the Run'
My wife and I saw Man on the Run, a nearly 2-hour documentary on Amazon Prime, about Wings, Paul McCartney's group that flew around the world from shortly after The Beatles broke up in early 1970 to shortly after John Lennon was murdered at the end of 1980, making a Beatles reunion forever impossible.
