It's the time of the year,
when the garden becomes a rainbow,
flowers of all colors blooming,
I have roses, daffodils, sunflowers,
sweet pea, hollyhock, poppy
larkspur, coreopsis, lupine,
irises, nasturtiums, calendulas,
star jasmine, arugula, tulips.
It's the time of the year,
when the garden becomes a concert
of music,
sung by sparrows and finches.
It's the time of the year,
when I see bees, ladybugs,
butterflies too.
Leaves are green again,
It's spring, when everything
comes alive.
I enjoy the visual feast,
take in the fragrance,
listen to the birds,
in slow pace,
with mindfulness,
and gratitude
for I know, it will not last.

Just beautiful on all counts. Kind of reminds me of the garden my parents had in Western PA. Good job.
We still have snow on the ground. Doesn't quit feel like spring. It stayed below freezing yesterday.πβ€οΈ
