Starting Book Two

I am writing a Sci-Fantasy romance series. Part two is titled An Imperial Education. The main title for the series is Emerald Dreams in an Azure-Stained Reality, of which I have several years’ worth of backstory already planned out and noted. I am currently revising part one and writing part three. So, I decided to share the rough draft of parts one and two and see what feedback I can get from the excellent writers and critics right here on Vocal.
The first "book" is already available through Vocal's paid content option. I won't just be sharing the chapter drafts with anyone who joins my paid membership; there's more! Each week, you will see a new chapter, and I do my best to get out one alt. article per week. These are usually lore articles, including character bios, location rundowns, bestiary/fairyiary? entries, and flora entries.
The first draft of the first part consists of 25 chapters, and the second part comprises 142. The story unfolds in a vast world that emerged from an RPG campaign spanning years, encompassing multiple campaigns and played by half a dozen different parties. I have created dozens of original fairies, magical creatures, plants, Gods and Goddesses, "Angels," and "Devils" that make a vibrant living world.
I am excited to weave the story together and create a truly magical world and reading experience, as well as refine and develop a few plot elements I only briefly outlined in the first draft. The story begins by exploring themes such as self-discovery, the importance of choosing your own path in life, and the contrast between blood relations and found family, before delving into LGBTQ+ issues, building healthy relationships, and the growing threat of fascism builds in the background as the second story arc takes hold.
I am sharing the first month of content for free to generate interest, as it differs from my other work. However, the rest will be part of the $ 2.99-per-month subscription offered through Vocal. I will be organizing the chapters and lore to this page for easy navigation. Once I have enough of each, I will likely make individual navigation pages and link them to this page. Please feel free to leave me a comment with any questions you may have about this article or the story content in general. I am excited about this project, and want you to be too!

I'm so excited for you and I hope you get more paid subscribers! So sorry I can't be one of them 😅😅
This sounds exciting, and all those fairies!
I’m not in a position to add expenses right now, but I intend for that to change.
