I am married with 7 children, 28 grands, and 13 great-grandchildren. I am a culture consultant part-time. I write A Poem a Day in February for 8 years now. I wrote 4 - 50,000 word stories in NaNoWriMo. I write on Vocal/Medium daily.

I Grew Up with Trauma/Racism
Add agism, and some others. ~~~~ I grew up in a town close to three reservations. My dad died when I was 10 years old and we moved out of the city, and didn’t return to the reservation that my mother grew up in. We were living about 1 hour from her childhood home.

Valentines Poems/Rhymes, Format or None Contest
Chocolate-covered pretzels and Truffles were the prizes. I have T-shirts and other gifts but you just have to give me chocolate for a Valentine's prize of this size. So many friends entered. Most that have participated before, Many contributed six or seven entries.

An Update on a Poem a Day in February
Today I called my granddaughter and asked her if she would help me choose the best Valentine poems/rhymes. Any format or non-required. I told her that I knew she is a writer as I have watched her writing over the years and she is a good writer.
