on Medium I joined Medium about two months ago and struggle to get into the site or decide what to write about. Of course, I want to promote myself like most—otherwise why would we be here? And if you have other reasons, I would love to hear them. Frankly I find it a bit overwhelming and chaotic. I write poetry for the most part and have decided to stop pursuing traditional publishing avenues and self publish so naturally I need to self promote.
