Jurassic Park: Impact of a Legend.
During one of my weekend visits to my dad’s house when I was around four years old we stopped at Blockbuster Video to rent some movies for the weekend. Of course I rented the movie I was craziest about at that age, Terminator 2: Judgement Day. My dad on the other hand rented a movie I was unfamiliar with called Jurassic Park. So he ended up wanting to watch this movie before I watched mines, which kind of irked my nerves because I didn’t like anyone interfering with my Terminator, but by the end of the first hour I was very interested in what was going on and eventually I was hooked.

The Fast and the Furious: Impact of a Legend.
The summer of 2001 was without a doubt one of my favorite summers as a kid. I remember being at summer camp, going to the beach, going to the zoo, getting a visit from my grandparents and all the great music and movies that came out at that time. One of the top five most memorable movies from that summer that all action adventure junkies were excited about was The Fast and the Furious, starring Vin Diesel and Paul Walker.

Friday the 13th: Impact of a Legend.. Top Story - May 2022.
On May 9th, 1980, Friday the 13th made it's theatrical debut across the country. Written by Victor Miller and directed by Sean S. Cunningham, critics labelled it the most definitive slasher film in horror. Though Friday the 13th was not the first slasher film ever made, having been preceded by Psycho (1960), The Last House on the Left (1972), The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974), and Halloween (1978), Friday the 13th was the first of it's horror kind to have the moniker of "slasher" tied to its identity due to its exploitative nature displayed by a slasher-killer. Friday the 13th would not only become one of the most beloved horror classics of all time, but would influence many other slashers in the genre it pioneered down the line. In addition to it's status as horror royalty, the Friday the 13th film series would also become a staple on the identity of American pop culture.
