Feeling misunderstood?
5. I just couldn't get through that gut-wrenching pain in my stomach without these songs. That feeling of no matter what you do you will never fit in, or worst, your partner will never get you the way that they should. You may gaslight yourself and say that you may be overthinking, that you may be as crazy as they said you are. but I have proof that you are not. Here is the deal. If someone cares about you and I mean truly cares about you, they will put in the effort. There is no such thing as busy anymore. there is enough time. There are 24 hours in the day for them to do so, 24 hours to love and cherish you. " There are 24 hours in a day" and they chose to lie and gaslight you in those 24 hours.

My Dead Dad and Musical Theatre
When my dad died, I felt as though I lost every connection to him as I became him. Even though I was wearing his clothes, walking like he did, handing out money left and right to try to match his generosity, and trying to emulate the way he laughed or ate- I didn’t feel like I had anything to grasp onto after he died, no connection to the beloved man I lost. I was hollow, and this continued to be the case until I watched The Sound of Music on his first post-death birthday.

Storyteller
I have always been drawn to music. Even at seven years of age, my heart and feet beat joyously to the sound of Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite or a Polonaise by Chopin. I am now much older, and over the years, my musical world has evolved to include the Beatles, Cat Stevens, Bruce Springsteen, Jimmy Buffett, Dan Fogelberg, Nirvana, NSYNC, Disturbed, K-Pop Bands, a large assortment of Italian and Spanish vocalists, and many, many others. Gravitating to a diverse array of music has consistently been an avenue I’ve chosen, through good and bad times, and, if for no other reason other than the sheer wonder of music that never fails to resonate deep within, always bringing solace and joy.

Summer playlist. (Sad Girl edition) :
10. Summer is great! or it's not. this playlist was made when I was dealing with a lot while the nauseating scent of summer was reeking of my friends. they all loved the hot long days and they mostly stayed out all night. I, on the other hand, had to work at the coffee shop during the hot days, and by the night I was completely exhausted. Days started to blend, and I often catch myself in numbness. it was this very song that got me to ask myself: Where am I? What am doing with my life? or better where is my mind?
