Top Five Live Covers You Should Watch
Not too much on denigrating the art of the cover, now. Especially, as I've made clear, the live one. It's often high stakes thanks to some inaugural, celebratory, or tribute event in an arena, maybe even in front of the original artist. The live cover, in my opinion, is how an artist truly earns their stripes. Have they made it their own whilst honouring the original? Have they chosen the right track, or indeed been chosen for the event correctly? And ultimately, can they sing someone else's notes and lyrics with new, exciting meaning without changing its DNA?

Who Eased Minds Best?
There are many things about being a kid that one never forgets. For example, I will never forget being 11 years old in the spring of 2001 and sitting in the passenger seat of my aunt’s black Nissan, eating my medium-sized cup of French Vanilla ice cream mixed with gummy bears. We were parked in front of a now long-gone Baskin-Robbins shop almost hidden inside a shopping center near Desert Inn and Sandhill, not far from the Boulder Station Hotel & Casino in the southeast corner of Las Vegas. The CD playing on the car radio was 1972’s Simon & Garfunkel’s Greatest Hits. Even 15 years later, I remember the powerful and dramatic crash that hit the la-la-lie chorus of “The Boxer.” I also recall setting my teenage romantic angst to the psychedelic sound and melody of “The Sound of Silence.” Finally, I still remember a wonderful kind of fear flowing down my spine while hearing the dramatic “Wall of Sound” force of “Bridge Over Troubled Water”. It was a kind of power only matched by Art Garfunkel belting those infamous high notes in the song’s crescendo.

Short n' Sweet by Sabrina Carpenter - Bop or Flop?
ALBUM OF THE YEAR. LYRICAL. ADDICTIVE. Short n' Sweet by Sabrina Carpenter is definitely high on the list for songs I cannot turn off. Each and every song off this album is just *chef's kiss*. So good. So, so good. You'd want to crank up the stereo volume and dance down the street to most songs on this album... shed a little tear for a couple others. No matter what, you will not be turning this album off once you press play (As long as you're 18+... because the songs and it's lyrics are definitely not kid friendly at all. This album was in true Former Disney Star fashion, I must say).
