The Curse Of The Musical Legends
Take four famous musical icons whose children have tried to follow in their footsteps: Bob Marley, John Lennon, Frank Sinatra and Nat King Cole - legends in their own time, with Marley still making a great impact in ours. Having followed the progress of their children over the years, it became patently obvious to me that neither of these rich, wealthy and talented ofspring will ever be 'legends' like their fathers, no matter how hard they work and how desperately they wish to make their own name. In fact, they will always be hovering just over the sea of attention while being judged every step by their father's fame. Dad will always be hanging around like a sweet smell to remind them of their position.

Good Riddance. Top Story - September 2023.
This began with a message from home. My brother and I have been sending each other messages on WhatsApp for some time now. Often, we talk about family, friends, politics, and just about anything that comes our way that we think needs a chat. The other day, my brother sent me a link to an article with the title: “Rolling Stone co-founder Jann Wenner removed from Rock Hall leadership after controversial comments”.

My First Concert Ever. Top Story - September 2023.
I went to my first concert ever last night, on 9/15/2023, to see my favorite band since 2017, Icon for Hire. I wanted to make going there extra special by getting the highest VIP package there is, the pre-show party. This includes going onto the tour bus and actually hanging out with Ariel, Shawn, and Flicka.

Earth, Wind & Fire: 30 Great Songs
Earth, Wind and Fire is an R&B, Funk, Jazz, Rock band which was formed in Chicago in 1969 by Maurice White. In 1962 Maurice became a session drummer for Chess Records, a blues, early rock and roll, and jazz label. From 1966 to 1970 he recorded with Ramsey Lewis and played drums on nine of his studio albums. White left Ramsey Lewis to concentrate on Earth, Wind and Fire. In 1972 Philip Bailey joined EWF as a co-lead vocalist and percussionist. Bailey and Maurice White shared lead vocals until White's death in 2016. Bailey went on to achieve major success as a solo artist. His biggest hit (away from EWF) was "Easy Lover" a duet with Phil Collins in 1984.
