First Date Epic Fail
This is the best romantic fail I have ever had! Oh my lord how can I put this in words well here it goes... I'd say around 2012ish I had agreed to a blind date. Her name was Chelsea and she was a TA ( Teacher's Assistant) do they still have these? Let me know on that lol, chelsea o we start our brief courtship texting, yes texting the totally modern way of talking lol. But to be fair at the time I was super busy I couldn't talk but my job i could text. We agree after a few days of talking to meet in person oh my god did she have a super suprise for me

The Night I Will Remember Years Later
I was 17 years old out with a few friends and a potential new boyfriend. This guy at first, I had no intention of dating because he had gone out with a few of my girlfriends and one of them was still interested in him and asked me to ask him if there was any chance for them. There was not, and if there had been I was a complication to that happening.

Oh, Don't Mind Me.......
I always stopped by the grocery store after my workout at the gym. They had the best coffee bar, even better than the leading coffee chain. As I waited in line I felt eyes watching me. Quickly turning to my right to look over my shoulder, I caught his gaze. He looked busted and embarrassed. I asked him if he needed some help, and told him to "take a picture, it lasts longer". He had the deepest, darkest brown eyes, almost like chocolate covered marbles. I'm not going to lie, they drew me him. As he slowly approached , I felt excited that he was coming over to me. Reality check...SCREECH... I looked like a sweaty pig, hair wet and sticking to my scalp from the aerobic workout. Praying that the sweat stains under my armpits weren't visible and thank God I had worn dark yoga pants, so the basement sweat didn't show through as much. He extended his hand, a strong, well manicured chocolate extremity, the end of the muscled forearm and bicep. I looked up from his hand, forearm, bicep and finally to his face, which framed his blindingly white teeth. Wow he was pretty handsome and the body was banging, what I aspired to have from all my gym workouts. He introduced himself, but I couldn't hear what he was saying because I was infatuated with the whole package. Explaining that he had seen me there a couple times before and finally had the courage to approach me, he gave me his phone number and asked if he could take me out. Faking my confidence, because I still felt like that I didn't look my best, I gave him my number and agreed to going out with him in the near future. He said he would call, about faced and walked away. The view was equally delicious going as it was coming. The Barista asked me for my order, my head still reeling from the encounter I just ordered a medium house brew.

I'm a Hot Mess of Cringe-worthy Moments
I am a big ol' hot mess; and when I was young, I was a little hot mess. I've had so many cringe-worthy moments throughout my life, I’ve lost count. Unfortunately, I never outgrew making a fool of myself. **sigh** It seems to be getting worse, the older I get! Let’s face it, some of y’all are shaped to shine, while others of us are fashioned for faux pas. I’ve divided up my embarrassing moments into four parts: 1) 'Younger Years'; 2) 'Terrible Tween & Teen Tales'; 3) 'Dating & Romance Sagas' (Lord, have mercy); and 4) 'A Grown Woman Should Know Better By Now' Moments. Here goes Part 1. Be kind—I was just a kid!

Peter, Take Care of My Girlfriend
Sorry sweetheart, going to be late. Peter will take care of you. April blinked back angry tears at the sight of the text message on her phone. Take care of me? She wondered, what does that even mean? Chewing the inside of her cheek she put the finishing touches on her makeup and stepped out of the bathroom. Peter had been leaning against the kitchen counter, distracting himself with his phone until she was ready.

That American
A good friend once said to me that there is one surefire way to tell that you have become an adult. You look back at the things you have done as a child and teen, and you cringe. These are the memories that your mind shies away from. The things that you would do anything to take back.
