Listening to Literature
If you’re like me, you take pride in your physical book collection. The bend in your shelf from the weight of the books scratches an itch in your brain you never knew existed until I pointed it out just now. When I was little, Beauty and the Beast was my favorite movie. I wanted to be just like Belle — the strong, heroine type who was gifted an entire library of books to peruse. Belle was a reader, so she was *quirky* and *different.* I still don’t have a library like Belle, but I’ve found that she was so right to escape through her novels. I now also understand that it wasn’t the collection she admired. The value of the books lies in their ability to sweep you away to far-off places.

He was fed up with tidying up after individuals. His work nauseated him more consistently. Club housekeeper..blah..He tidied up champagne smelling upchuck, cocaine sprinkled blood, even a jewel - encrusted stiletto heel from ...one of those. Women...He'd needed to be a blackjack seller; he rehearsed consistently. He expressed hey to the club managers, he even wore a necktie with his housekeeping coveralls. He'd come to Las Vegas with overwhelming joy in his heart.". I'm gonnna be rich, sometime in the future. I can feel it!". He had his lucky trinket, another poker chip that he found on the floor when he was wiping up upchuck. He cleared it off and it looked very great! Like it was winking at him. He quit clearing and took it out. He grinned at it, gave it a speedy little kiss. As he was wiping it off once more, someone found him.

Somebody Has Died
Somebody has died. Of this, I'm sure. I know it since I generally know it. As I lie here alone in this enormous, void bed and stand by listening to the downpour, I recall it as it gets back to me, this believing, this fear, skittering all over my throat with 1,000 little legs. It gets comfortable my stomach like an incredible stone, a strong, nauseating weight. It is malodorous in its weight and unquestionable in its commonality. Somebody has passed on. I don't have the foggiest idea who.

Deranged, Manipulative, Insane
The tempest had felt like talk the entire day, yet presently, the sky was conveying. Briefly, similar to a blade getting a flicker of light and refracting it in huge number, everything sparkled white. The lightning split the entire sky down the middle, and at that time, it was more brilliant than sunshine. The highest points of the headstones appeared to beat like strobe lights in a club before obscurity settled them down once more.
