1. Cyberpunk "Cyberpunk" is a form of fiction given birth by the collision between societal decay and technological ascendancy. It was popular in the 1980s but still influences modern movies, television shows, comic books, and graphic novels, as well as music to a great degree. Films such as The Matrix, Blade Runner, Robocop, Akira, and newer offerings such as Cyberpunk 2077 have kept the genre alive. Its roots go back to the novel Neuromancer by William Gibson, the French comic art of Moebius as exemplified in Metal Hurlant (known in America as "Heavy Metal"), and the "New Wave of Science Fiction" pioneered by writers such as J.G. Ballard and Philip K. Dick. Its aesthetic is seedy and post-modern, its world populated by hardboiled cynics, cutthroats, hackers, corporate criminals, and brutal, militarized police. And, of course, the occasional terrorist (er, perhaps "freedom fighter"?) working to bring down the oppressive, dehumanizing system wherein cyberspace (as defined by William Gibson) has become the Alcatraz of the soul.

Bowie is a remarkably uncommon lobster that is half blue and half orange, half male and half female.
Bowie may be the rarest lobster in the world if not the North Atlantic. This unique specimen is divided exactly in half, with a typical orange color on the right side and a vivid blue color on the left. Furthermore, it is a prime example of a bilateral gynandromorph, with a perfect midline split that makes it half-male and half-female.

Let's select Just a few that might be of relevance in our current age. The sixteenth-century Mars mission. Michelle de Nostradamus was a French astrologer who became well-known during his time because, you guessed it, many of his predictions came true. Although it's still unclear if his predictions from long ago were accurate or the result of pure coincidence, people at the time accepted him and he became well-known for them until the day of his death. Nostradamus also left behind a book called Les Prophetes in which he made 942 predictions, many of which came true. For example, he foresaw both the moon landing mission of Apollo 11 and the ruthless reign of Adolf Hitler and even the COVID-19 pandemic. All these he talked about in the book which he published in 1555.

To her left from the viewer’s perspective sat an even older, rounder man apparently named Jaimé Ayuda. Jaimé kept a smile plastered on his face as Veronica spoke, although it was difficult to ascertain whether he was actually listening or just waiting until it was his turn to speak.
