Stephanie Meyer's Books

All books Stephanie Meyer has written

A Collection of Works by Stephanie Meyer. There are many different types of works combined that I am not including because these are the singular books she has written. Some of them I didn't even know she has written like, life and death. I had no idea! I have read all her works except for the spin-offs. I started Midnight Sun, but life got to me and I haven't been able to pick it back up. So far my favorite works are The Host and The Chemist. The Twilight Series itself will always hold a special place in my heart because I remember being held up in my room in Middle school/High school, reading by myself wondering what was going to happen to Bella and Edward. Here is a complete list of all her works (hopefully I am not missing any! If I did put them in the comments!)

Twilight

I loved this book when it came out. Made it my whole life and became my personality. When the movie came out, I think I stayed in line for the midnight showing. It was an amazing time living inn my delusion that I could meet a vampire and become one myself. Very romanticsized. But if you don't know, it is about a human girl who goees to a new town to live in ewith here dad and finds out that the town is home to vampires. She finds that one is just her type.

New Moon

I think this was my first introduction to what depression could be and what tragedy could do to people. This is the second book in the saga and how Bella finds out that being with vampires isn't easy for her or them.

Eclipse

The third installment is where we learn more lore in the twilight world. The newborn vampires are making their way into Forks, Washington and trying to ruin the Cullen family and take Bella as their prize. This is also when the love triangle realy sets in. Not my favorite trope, but makes the series more spicy I guess.

Breaking Dawn

The last book in the saga. Honestly, I remember this book coming out and devoured it when I got it. When the movie was in two parts I knew exactly why, but hated that I had to wait for it. It was the one where Bella and Edward tied the knot and found out news that they believed to be impossible. Then we get to see Bella transition into what she has been wanting to be since the beginning. I loves the wedding scene in the movie! Chef's kiss.

Midnight Sun

This is Twilight written in Edward's perspective. I read the first chapter and I loved it. It was good to seee his side of the story and the inner turmoil he faced. The

Life and Death

This is one I have yet to read because I truly did not know it existed. This book is a reverse of the original. Edward is now a girl and Bella is now a boy. It is still told in the human's perspective. The cover being a reverse as well with a male hand and a green apple. Poetic genius.

The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner

A vampire in the Twilight Series made an impact to the audience and Meyer made a novella about her second life as a vampire.

The Host

The Host, I feel, is one of the best books by Meyer. She created a new original idea and made it into something amazing. The Host is about an alien race that came to Earth and took over the bodies of humans. Their hosts. The only way to see these entities is through the eyes. If your eyes have a certain likeness, you have an alien inside of you. The girl we follow, she is trying to escape these things with her brother and a young man. She gets captured, but her host is different. Our heroine is not clouded in her own mind. Her consciousness is still awake arguing with the new creature inside her body. Now the two beings inside one body must find a way to live harmoniously.

Alleged sequels: The Seeker, The Soul

The Chemist

The Chemist is one of Meyer's newer releases. It is about a woman who is on the run from a government faction and is being hunted down. Her life is in danger all the time. She has been on the run for the last three years and now her old boss reached ouut for a new job only she can do. With her brain and expertise, she is a sought-after interrogator. This job might her way to freedom. The job isn't as easy as it seems when the man she has to capture is hiding things that even he doesn't know he knew.

Sentimentally, I love Meyer's books. I do have one flaw about her books that really are my least favorite trope. Love Triangles. They are the worst and I can't begin to describe how much I loathe them. They hurt the romance and the reader can't decide. It's always the nice guy finishing last and the path to getting to that conclusion just rips hearts out. It's a lose/lose for me. Stop. Other than that I do really enjoy the plot and the characters.

On Goodreads, she apparently has a bunch of random graphic novels. So not sure that's legit, but here's hoping she writes and publishes the rest of The Host series!
