Get into the Halloween spirit; all about trick or treating, spooky costumes, Halloween decorations and haunted houses for October 31st and all year round.
Decorating Disturbance
It was a brisk September Saturday morning and I was putting away my Summer decor and arranging my Halloween decorations in my basement so I could bring them outside to display. I was well known locally in our small town to have some of the best Halloween animatronics in the area. Every year kids love to stop in front of my house and just stand around and look at all of the creepy decorations I put out all month long. I have props of zombies, skeletons, spiders, vampires, werewolves, really almost any classic monster you can think of. I would get compliments on how realistic they looked and moved from neighbors walking by. People love my graveyard, and my window displays and would often take selfie photos of themselves in front of the props. I even won the local house decorating contest that was conducted by our town last year.

Transforming the Mundane into the Miraculous
If you could be a jellyfish for one night, would you go for it? No, I don’t have some mad science idea on how to become a jellyfish (sounds like an awesome Magic School Bus episode though, doesn’t it?). However, armed with a clear chip bowl, some bubble wrap, tape, a strobe light, and a pair of scissors I could grant you that wish. If you wanted to get extra classy you could add some double-sided lace. Then you too could join my Jellyfish army bwahahaha… Errr. I got a little side-tracked there. Moving on. I go a little nuts on Halloween, I always make my costumes and I tend to go overboard. Here is my pride and joy, one of the best Halloween costumes I have ever created I give you the Jellyfish-

The Timekeeper. Content Warning.
Ah, yes the softness of his skull was my favorite sound. Nothing like the feel of someone new at my fingertips. He looked so innocent just sitting there. A statue greatly posed. So limply placed upon his throne. It had to be done. For every time he gazed at me with those eyes. A shiver sent up my spine. As to what I held to my surprise. His lifeless eyes bluster within my soul. Judgmental from the great beyond. I am sane, it's dreadfully so. But in life those eyes were never kind. It haunts me, I must hide him. Blood from every orifice fills his face. I must hide him soon before neighbors catch foul play. I need his hideous eyes to go away. Ah, but his beauty was here to stay. Where oh where must you go. Stuffed in the grandfather clock. Tick tock, the time flies by. I had only seconds left. I pushed his heavy body in the ticking tower. He will not stay, so stubborn I must say. I proceeded to tape it shut. All in time for a knock at my chamber door. Hurriedly placing a cloth on my prize. With a deep breath, I opened my door.
