What It's Like Being: An Independent Musician
I am a musician and YouTube content creator. I spend most of my time working from home trying to make money by creating entertaining content. I work upwards of 10 hours a day, 7 days a week, but I absolutely love what I do. I get to live the dream of being my own boss and getting paid to play music in front of a live audience. The main issue is that when you first start out as a musician and even a YouTuber, you don't make much money if you even make any at all.

My Adventures as a Pizza Delivery Driver
One day at work, I had a pizza delivery come up and it was not to one of my favorite places to go. The delivery was to the local mall in town. Most of the time, the customers that do order pizza will come outside to met the delivery drivers, unless they say that they are manning the store where they work by themselves. If that is the case, then you have no choice but to park your vehicle and go inside to make the delivery.

Coping with Job Search Rejection
Job seeker’s rejection is most definitely a prime candidate for the list of things that are most likely to cause us emotional turmoil, along with bereavement, divorce, moving house or coping with an illness. It ought to occupy number five on this list for sure. For some of us more seasoned job seekers, many of which would have probably made hundreds or thousands of applications and have been waiting for months or even years for that perfect job, it can be gut wrenchingly difficult to stay afloat, or “positive” as much of the advice out there goes; self-doubt, anxiety, depression and sheer loss of will to live is seeping into our daily lives and social media interactions, whether we realise it or not.

My Adventures as a Pizza Delivery Driver
I had been delivering pizzas for a good six months before I had my first irate customer. Most of the delivery drivers at work use their cell phone as a GPS. I personally like to use my GPS. I enter the address of where I am going into the GPS and the driving device talks to me, to my location, telling me exactly where to turn, and it lets me know when I am arriving at my customer's location.

My Adventures as a Pizza Delivery Driver
Knock on wood, in the time that I have been delivering pizzas, I have not gotten a speeding ticket nor have I had a car wreck. Personally, I do not ever want to have either of them. One can never be careful enough while out and about driving. Since I have been delivering pizzas, I went from hardly driving anywhere to driving almost non-stop on the days that I work.

The Price of Education and Teaching: Part IX
Because I really had no 'resources,' I went back to my husband's apartment but started looking for a place to rent close to work. It took me about a month, so I lived a month of almost complete silence and took my daughter out in her stroller so we could spend time together away from our hell; it was interesting that his side of the family never came around during this time, and not even before. I have a feeling my husband still hadn't told his family what was going on; it would've been too humiliating for him.

My Adventures as a Pizza Delivery Driver
Before becoming a pizza delivery driver, I really had no idea what went on, business wise at the store. I really did not know where that I would be going, how many pizzas, two liter sodas, twenty ounce sodas, or water, that I could also be taking to any of my many customers. Our Store also offers extras like plates, napkins, drinking cups, multiple pizza dipping sauce cups, banana peppers and jalapeno peppers.
