humanity
Isn't it ironic that the very best of humanity is seen through the love and empathy we show to our pets?
Top Secrets To Keep Your Pets Happy
Pets are a wonderful addition to anyone's household. They are among the few special ones who actually care about us. They are always willing to give us all they have without expecting something in exchange. Nowadays, individuals consider their pets as children and themselves as parents. This is how pet-human relationships are changing. The family members consider pets no less than humans. For example, they celebrate their birthdays with the same zeal and excitement as they would celebrate of some family member. The human-animal bond is a flexible and rather more of a symbiotic connection between humans and their pets, affected by activities that are critical to both their physical and mental health and well-being.

My Guardian Angel Has Paws
I don’t know what I would do without her. I first met Bella when she was six months old, when I was babysitting her for a close family friend. It was puppy love at first sight. We instantly bonded and having a dog around again reminded me of so many happy childhood memories, the ones that got me through the times that weren’t so happy. I babysat Bella several other times over the years, and then about two and a half years ago her former owners had to move and couldn’t take her, so I adopted her as my own.

A Wet Ball of Black Fur.
I am weak. By that, I mean I know my own limits - and the only reason I am not telling you this story face to face right now, is because I know that I have not yet built the strength to resist your siren’s call. I know that if I were faced with you again, in the right setting, I would delve right back into everything that could have, or should have been.

Hola! Soy Dora!
Since my childhood, there was always a macaw crossing life paths with me. Maybe I was destined to have a macaw as guardian angel. Not as my own pet. My dad always said these colourful birds, with huge wing span of about 3ft, obviously needed to be kept on huge bird cages .

Styling My Dog Using The Halloween Clearance at Pet Stores
If you saw a previous work I written for this same challenge about my current pup's last Halloween costume, you would have seen that I mentioned a Halloween costume seen on this pup from a photo I had found (Article found here). After doing a bit more looking, I actually found another costume that this dog had worn in the time he and I were in each other's lives. This was a costume I found at PetSmart in the "Clearance" section one day when my mom and I went one night close to closing time for some dog food- I just knew I had to buy it the very second I found it. I was not putting it back on the shelf.

Smartpup for Jaxon
At the beginning of this year, we had officially finished fundraising the 20 thousand dollars for my son Jaxon. We were supposed to visit Smartpups in August to meet the pup and the pup’s trainer working with my son Jaxon. The dog will be learning how to sniff out his diabetes low sugars and save his life from hypoglycaemia that can lead to serious health problems. Hypoglycaemia can cause seizures, unconsciousness, coma and even death. Due to Covid, we were unable to cross state borders due to lockdown, so we could not meet this pup; we then rescheduled for March 2022. The dog will either be a Labrador or a Golden Retriever breed. I’m not sure which puppy will be just yet as nobody picks the puppy they need to meet before a match is made.

The Case Against Pets
Why keeping a pet is fundamentally unethical As the current guardian of seven cats and two dogs whom I treasure more than words can express I was taken off guard to say the least by the strength of the case made in the piece. I have no problem accepting the ethical arguments that show conclusively in my view that the mistreatment of non human animals is morally wrong. Yet I still eat and use products derived from animals, including products that almost certainly were derived from animals whose treatment I would equate with torture. That said my intention here is not to address my obvious lack of ethical principles in this regard.
