Loyal Readers
They fuel my motivation to keep writing here
I took Vocal Medium Plus,
I learned we get $6 for 1000 reads.
A measly sum—
but still,
1000 reads is not a big deal,
In Medium, I write,
and get above 2,000 reads,
every month.
It's easy, I thought.
But here on Vocal,
in three months,
I managed to get 1000 reads.
When I receive a Top Story,
which is rare,
only I get strangers,
to read my work.
otherwise, it’s just a few people.
Let me share who they are:
Marie and Mark,
Sandy and Dharr.
That’s it.
I continue here,
fueled solely by their support.

I believe being a reader
is just as important,
as being a writer
in the arena,
of social media writing.
