The Peace Within Accountability
There is peace in accountability. If you’d met me several years ago, you couldn’t have paid me to admit that. The truth is, several years ago, I myself was oblivious to this notion. I’d been in conflict after conflict and not one time had I come out on the bottom of it, even if I truly had. If I said it was so, you couldn’t convince me otherwise. And oh, honey I would die on that hill. There was something powerful about lacking any control for much of my life, eventually learning that I can build my own narrative beautifully crafted in any way that I want. What did I want? Control. How did I get it? By being right. Ultimately, I spent over twenty seven of the twenty-eight years on this Earth failing at what I now know as gaslighting. Crafting weak fairytales in a vain attempt to keep what little control I had over my life.

The Essence of Faith and the Evolution of Religion
Faith is the anchor of the human spirit, a guiding light that gives purpose and meaning to our existence. Without something to believe in—be it a person, a philosophy, a concept, or a deity—life risks becoming aimless, hollow, and, as Friedrich Nietzsche warned, a descent into the state of the "last man." The last man, as Nietzsche described, is a person who lives without aspiration, content with mere survival, trapped in a cycle of comfort and apathy. This is a dangerous and painful state, one I have personally navigated. From my own journey, I’ve come to believe that faith is not just desirable but essential. It provides a foundation, a sense of direction, and something to entrust our hopes to.

The Sewing Box
The box had been there for years — untouched, unspoken, and always in the same corner of Nana’s old attic. Covered in lace that had long since yellowed, it waited like a quiet witness. When Nana passed away that winter, I returned home after seven years to settle her affairs — not entirely ready for what I would find.

Left on Read, Left in Ruins: The Social Toll of Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria
The Message That Lingers It usually starts with a message that seems thoughtful enough: "Hey! How have you been?" There's a flicker of something warm in your chest. Maybe surprise. Maybe hope. Maybe a quiet kind of excitement that someone thought of you after so long. You pause whatever you're doing, take the time to respond — kindly, carefully, openly. You ask them how they are, maybe even suggest catching up.

Flawed, Fierce, and Full of Glitter: A Story of Reclamation
There’s a special kind of audacity required to reclaim your worth when the world has spent years convincing you you shouldn’t. It’s like walking into a party you weren’t invited to, grabbing the mic, and belting out a power ballad while maintaining unbroken eye contact with everyone who ever doubted you. Which, let’s be honest, is exactly the kind of energy we should all be cultivating.

Trapped in Loops: Making Sense of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder
Introduction Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is one of the most misunderstood and often misrepresented mental health conditions in modern discourse. Though the term is frequently tossed around casually to describe someone who likes cleanliness or order, true OCD is far more complex and debilitating. It is a chronic mental disorder marked by intrusive thoughts (obsessions) and repetitive behaviors or mental acts (compulsions) that an individual feels driven to perform. These symptoms can significantly interfere with a person’s daily life, relationships, and emotional wellbeing.
