Interesting rules of baseball You might not know actually exist
Everyone who loves Baseball knows most of the basic rules. But even many of those might be unaware of some rules that are quite strange and interesting. These are some in-depth rules that many players/coaches/analysts know very little of them.

The Baseball Gods Work in Mysterious Ways
The Baseball Gods Work In Mysterious Ways It was the season opener and my first starting assignment as a Freshman High School pitcher. I was being called the most promising pitcher in the area by everyone who counted; a lot of pressure for a 14-year-old. I thrived under pressure and baseball for me was life. We were playing East Paterson (now Elmwood Park) in a non-conference fracas at home. There was a medium-sized crowd that grew as people got off from work. Before I took the mound, I scanned the stands for familiar faces and there were many. Behind home plate and rather obvious at least to those who knew baseball were two major league scouts carrying 3-ring binders and stopwatches.

Classic Movie Review: 'Moneyball' Starring Brad Pitt
Moneyball is a baseball movie but you need not be a baseball fan to enjoy it. The intricacy of Brad Pitt's performance, the way his mind works, his various quirks and ticks are so intriguing that he could be talking about stocks, CIA assassinations, or romancing a romantic comedy leading lady and you would be equally engaged. Pitt’s version of real life baseball executive Billy Beane is a full bodied performance, Pitt vibrates restlessly as if his ideas were generated by a constantly whirring unseen engine.

Best Fireworks
This team needs no introduction to the world of Major League Baseball. For thirty years the people and the city and county of Denver fought to bring a professional baseball team to the Mile High City. In 1991, Major League Baseball rewarded the city with an expansion franchise That would be called the Colorado Rockies. Their first game would not be played for two years yet, but there was already excitement building around the team. With the ownership group of the Monfort Brothers and Gerry McMcmorris, we had a busy two years ahead.

Randy Johnson's Perfect Game
I was recently asked what I thought was one of the great feats in baseball. Now that is hard to judge because there were so many. But as an old pitcher, I guess I am partial to pitching performances that are above and beyond the normal every day on the mound and sometimes bring back memories of my own glory days on the mound.

A Friend Comes Home
The Federal Express delivery arrived from New Jersey. My heart was beating fast and, as I opened the box and saw my old friend, I’m not embarrassed to say that my eyes welled up with tears. It’s been almost 50 years since I last saw my friend and I really never thought about seeing it again, except maybe in a photo.

Stealing Signs
Stealing Signs was once an Art In the last couple of years, there has been a lot of controversy over sign stealing by the Houston Astros and the New York Yankees. You can bet your life that all the other teams in MLB have also stolen signs using technology and may still be doing it.
