On the 1st of March, 2021 (just eleven days ago), the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) released a press statement in which the Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division, Dr. Kennie Obateru, stated that “the Corporation was not contemplating any raise in the price of petrol in March in order not to jeopardize ongoing engagements with organized labour and other stakeholders on an acceptable framework that will not expose the ordinary Nigerian to any hardship.”

So nice. As competitive as the Big Brother Naija house is - 20 housemates competing against each other to win a grand prize worth 85 million naira - it's nice to see these housemates happy with and celebrating with each other outside the house. Even people who had beef inside the house are now outside the house cheering each other on. I guess at the end of the day, when you go through an experience like Big Brother Naija with a group of people, only you and those group of people you went through it with will ever understand what it really felt like and what it feels like outside the house. So I understand the camaraderie and I'm happy to see it.
