Weâre sparks in the dark,
flames in the night,
burning with a passion,
burning so bright.
Though they see us as black,
and scorn with their might,
we stand distinct, unshaken,
till they feel the black magic ignite.

rising through the shadows,
breaking every chain.

The world may try to dim our glow,
but we wonât fade,

Burning bright,
weâll light the way,
through the ashes,
into a brand new day.

My furry friend
When I first saw you I thought you were the cutest dog Iâve seen. Especially those floppy ears of yours and the little boot like feet with the white print on them. I knew you would bring us joy but, I had no idea how much. With that feisty personality of yours howling at me, when I first get up going to the cabinet to get a treat first thing in the morning or want to go for a walk which in our house we have to say W otherwise you go crazy and start whining if we donât go right away. I love how when youâre happy your tail doesnât just wag it also spins which, I find quite unusual. Being able to play all by yourself in the back yard and how athletic you are youâve got such great skill. Running, prancing, and rolling around catching squirrels and birds. Going for nice long walks, hikes then go to your bed and get covered with your blanket when itâs cold and putting up with your brother over the years tormenting you saying, Elsa go upstairs every night with your tail between your legs.

From ad men to mad men
It's after 2am in the morning when a local police patrol vehicle in Northern New Jersey spots a figure costumed as Quasimodo, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, proceeding southbound on the sidewalk along Lydecker Street. Though the hunchbackâs costume stuffing offers added insulation, it's January, and frigginâ freezing. Carefully, the officers slow down, gently question the subject, and offer him a ride home.
