Where Were You When It All Started?
Remembering 9-11 It's quite an extraordinary view and something that I have never, nor will I ever, have the privilege of witnessing. The Twin Towers were a part of the New York City skyline for many years before September 11th, 2001. I never gave them a second thought until that morning. At 8:45 am on a clear Tuesday morning a Boeing 767 loaded with 20,000 gallons of fuel crashed into the first tower or what was known as the north tower of the World Trade Center in New York City. The plane's impact with the building, near the 80th floor, left a gaping, burning hole in the 110-story skyscraper that killed hundreds of people in an instant and trapped hundreds more located on the higher floors.

Arms Sales: What We Know About Bombs Being Dropped in Our Name
At some point before the summer of 2018, an arms deal from the US to Saudi Arabia was sealed and delivered. A 227kg laser-guided bomb made by Lockheed Martin, one of many thousands, was part of that sale. On August 9th, 2018 one of those Lockheed Martin bombs was dropped on a school bus full of Yemeni children. They were on their way to a field trip when their lives came to a sudden end. Amidst shock and grief, their loved ones would learn that Lockheed Martin was responsible for creating the bomb that murdered their children.

Israel's 'AI in war' claims and the irony of it.
The devastating and long-drawn-out conflict between Israel and Hamas came to an end just a while back. The peace was essentially brokered by the international pressure on Israel but US and Egypt also played a presumable individual role. Israel was subject to the dynamics of international geopolitics when their traditional allies did not back their profuse use of rockets on the Gaza strip. The violence ended with both sides reporting they won, which essentially meant both sides were happy and the conflict had indeed ended. Israel named its operation “operation guardian of the wall”, which is just another name to the identical operations done by the country on the Gaza strip over the years, some with and some without provocation.
