I was running the risk of being late for work, so when I saw the bus pulling in, I made the split-second decision to board. A woman entered just ahead of me, and as soon as I stepped inside, I realized the bus was already at capacity. I had my mini backpack strapped on, two side bags, and a Target bag carrying items for my new locker…in other words, I was bulky, awkward, and doing everything in my power not to knock into anyone.
